Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Second Harvest Inland Northwest. You can now register for 2010 calendar year events including our weekly Help the Hungry Warehouse Sort Groups, monthly community nights, food drives, special events and other warehouse/office volunteer opportunities.
Our warehouse is an industrial food handling facility. Please help us keep everyone safe by observing the following safety considerations. All volunteers must:
• Sign in and wear ID badges.
• Wear closed toe shoes while in the warehouse.
• Be at least 14 years old for evening and weekend shifts.
• Be at least 18 years old for weekday shifts between 8 AM and 3 PM in the warehouse.
Due to food safety audit requirements and safety regulations, we cannot make exceptions to these requirements. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Julie at 252-6242 or email jnesbitt@2-harvest.org
You can also get involved by hosting a food drive at your business, school, church or community organization. Please contact Peggy Gallinger at pgallinger@2-harvest.org or call 252-6253 to schedule your food drive and food drive barrel delivery.
Never doubt your support makes a difference!
