Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering your time at Second Harvest. You can help hungry people in our community. Please join other volunteers to help sort and pack produce, food drive or bulk food items in preparation for delivery to our emergency food outlets. Volunteers must be age 14+ to participate in our Help the Hungry program.
Second Harvest has been leading the hunger-relief network in the region since 1971. Second Harvest distributes over 2 million pounds of free food each month to help people in need in 26 counties in Eastern Washington and North Idaho. Partnerships with more than 250 neighborhood food banks and meal centers make it possible to feed 55,000 people each week.
We require that all volunteers and guests of volunteers create user accounts on our website prior to assisting in our Volunteer Center. It’s easy to create an account online, just click on your preferred shift below to register and sign up while there’s still space available.
